Patrick Lagacé wrote on January 30 a column entitled Haiti, sick of his charades . He dared to break the formidable unanimity of the Quebec media narrative used the occasion of the earthquake in Haiti.
An experienced journalist, Mr. Lagacé can not be done out of naivety. It may not have done that by courage, agreeing in advance to pay the price of his questioning. All shades were in his lucid description of the situation, but that did not stop the good of souls would scandalize.
Haiti will be strong when its people are united behind the idea that they must take charge.
