How to fight against violence and its consequences in feminist circles by a collective ownership?

Talking about violence in urban activist inevitably generates rejection reactions, opposing stances and attacks on the methodology, people and / or group concerned. According to some people, violence considered private should remain in private. This is the method used in the home to stifle the voices of abused people and the best way not to call into question the structure which admits or legitimate violence. This text should enable Pink Panthers react when they are acquired by a person alleging violence between individuals in the community activists, specifically in cases of violence that make sharing space activists needed.

This reflection is inspired by and is in line with the work produced by other feminist collectives (see bibliography below).


A feminist approach

denunciation of violence and the fight against them is a component of feminist struggle in the same way that actions and deliberations on gender, labor, discrimination and oppression.
